Our 10th Anniversary Season Spring Concert

"STAY TUNED" - April 14 & 15

Heart of America Men's Chorus presents "STAY TUNED" - a collection of fun and memorable theme songs from classic American television! Directed and chorographed by DEANNE ZOGLEMAN, it's a show filled with music, dance and skits created around the TV tunes you know and some that you may have not even realized had written lyrics. You'll be laughing as the guys take a musical journey through the not-so-distant past of sit-coms and variety TV shows. Our guest artist for this concert will be JENNIFER KING, who last sung with the Chorus for our "glee" concert. Jennifer has performed with HOAMC several times in the past and we are happy to have her to help us celebrate our 10th season.

Concerts are staged in Performance Hall, located in the DeMattias Fine Arts Center at Newman University - Saturday, April 14 at 7pm and Sunday, April 15 at 4pm. Seats are $18. Student tickets are $10. For more information, call the Chorus Line at 316.708.4837.

The Heart of America Men’s Chorus (HOAMC) is pleased to kick off the beginning of their Tenth Anniversary Season by announcing the hiring of a new Artistic Director, Ms. Deanne Zogleman.

Ms. Zogleman is well known to Wichita and the surrounding communities, as well as throughout the state of Kansas and beyond. An award winning choreographer, she is sought after by show choirs and theatrical productions alike. Ms. Zogleman is currently the Director of the Music Department at Newman University in Wichita, where her talents as a choral director have received kudos from no less than well known choral composer John Leavitt.  Her choral groups have earned the distinction of performing at Carnegie Hall, in New York City, three times in the past four years. Ms. Zogleman’s seasoned production skills promise a future of new and exciting concerts for HOAMC’s audiences.

Ms. Zogleman replaces Mr. Howard Webb who held the position for 9 years, and was HOAMC’s original Artistic Director.
