Heart of America Men’s Chorus feeds hungry Wichitans with song and daily bread
Let Holidays Ring – a holiday concert to benefit Positive Directions

The Heart of America Men’s Chorus always knows how to kick-off the holidays with flair. From unique choreography, elaborate costumes and a blend of traditional and contemporary holiday music, the chorus’ next show Let Holidays Ring will be brimming with holiday cheer.  The concert will feature the Heart of America Men’s Chorus, with numbers performed by the small ensemble – Voices From the Heart, and a four-octave hand bell choir.

Let Holidays Ring will be Saturday, Dec. 12 at 7 pm and Sunday Dec. 13 at 4 pm at Wichita’s historic Orpheum theater.

The Heart of America Men’s Chorus donates a portion of the proceeds from every concert to a local charity in need. Let Holidays Ring will benefit the Positive Directions Daily Bread program. Concert goers are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items to the concerts.

“A staggering number of people are without food for their families during all times of the year. But, during the holiday season it hits especially hard, “ said Mark Walker, assistant director of the Heart of America Men’s Chorus. “Our goal for this concert is to fill souls with our music and bellies with generous contributions to the food bank.”
