HOAMC maintains a very busy schedule, both in rehearsals/performances and other events that support our chorus and community.  A listing of recent and upcoming events:

Notes To Remember - Saturday, March 6, 2010
Notes To Remember is our spring time fund-raising event.  The evening features drinks, dinner, entertainment and a silent and live auction.  This past March we moved our event to the Petroleum Club at 100 N. Broadway in the Bank of America Building.  Our entertainer for the evening was local folk artist Aaron Fowler.

Let Freedom Sing - April 24/25, 2010
The chorus just finished our spring concert, Let Freedom Sing, a few weekends ago.  The concerts were filled with music that celebrated the freedoms we enjoy and so often take for granted; as well as honoring those who serve this country to keep us free.  The finale of the show featured a color guard from McConnell Airforce Base here in Wichita which presented colors during the singing of "Battle Hymn of the Republic".  It was quite a moving moment for the audience as well as the chorus

Second Annual Rummage Sale - April 29/30 & May 1
The chorus is currently holding it's second annual rummage sale and there are great bargins to be found.  The location of the sale is at the old Hillside Christian Church at 149 S. Hillside (just south of Douglas and Hillside).  The sale runs Thursday, April 29, 8a-3p, Friday, April 30, 8a-6p and Saturday, May 1, 8a-1p.  Stop by and shop or drop of items you might like to donate to the HOAMC sale.

Let Music Live Rehearsals - Tuesday, May 4, 2010
Rehearsals are getting underway for the close of our eighth season.  The chorus will present Let Music Live on July 17/18, 2010.  All men over the age of 18 are invited to join us for our next concert project.

Summer Reverberations II - A Voices from the Heart Reunion - Sunday, May 16, 2010 - 6pm
Last year our ensemble, Voices from the Heart, performed in their first solo concert Summer Reverberations.  The ensemble, and audience, had such a great time last year that we are bringing them back again this year; and they have invited a few faces from the past to join them.

Summer Reverberations II - A Voices from the Heart Reunion will feature the current members of the ensemble as well as members from previous years.  Sixteen men will join together on Sunday evening, May 16, and bring back the best moments of the ensemble over the past six years.  Get ready to cheer, clap, yell, laugh and cry as the guys pull out their best music and memories.

Let Music Live - Concert - Saturday, July 17 & Sunday, July 18
We close our season with a concert that speaks to the heart of why we sing and what music does and means in our lives.  The show will be filled with powerful, emotional and fun music that celebrates the importance of letting music live in our hearts and souls.
